Introduction
Hello there! We're thrilled to guide you through the process of accessing and understanding the SEO Checklist. This guide will help you navigate the SEO Checklist, evaluate your SEO Score, and fix any issues or improvements. We've included images to make the process even clearer. Let's get started!
1. How to Access the SEO Checklist
There are two simple ways to view the SEO Checklist:
- From the Dashboard
Please navigate to Dashboard > Shop SEO Score card, and then click on 'View Checklist'.
- From the Menu
Please go to the menu on the left > SEO Audit > Select the sub-menu 'Shop SEO Checklist'.
Please note: The app will take some time to scan the SEO checklist for the first time. This process will run automatically, and you don't need to stay on the page. There will also be a notification about the progress of the checklist scan.
2. How to Evaluate SEO Score
Your SEO Score is calculated based on the content, code, and performance of certain pages, including the Homepage, one collection page, and one product page.
An SEO Score from 0-49 is considered bad, from 50-79 is medium, and from 80 upwards is good
Each checklist will have corresponding statuses: Issue, Improvement, and Good.
- Issue: These are checklists with bad results, directly affecting your store's SEO results and need to be fixed as soon as possible. You can click on these issues to see detailed errors and how to fix them.
- Improvement: These are checklists with okay results, currently not directly affecting SEO results. However, these checklists also need to be improved for the best SEO results.
- Good result: These are checklists with good results and are working well on your store.
Please note: For stores with a password, some checklists will not be able to be checked and will be in the 'Can’t detect' section. These checklists will not be included in the SEO Score. Please disable the password on your store to detect all checklists.
